Introduction          A detective is a private person hired by a person or a company for obtaining various informations regarding the truth of  an individual or institution or a company. Work of a detective primarily relates to fact - finding which involves probing, investigation and knowledge of techniques such as finger- printing, photography and tracking someone.
           A detective handles variety of problems like -

  • Domestic Problem likeProblems of divorce, child custody, unnatural deeaths, getting information on other family before arranging a         marriage, family disputes over wills or property, etc.; 
  • Industrial espionage likecredentials of potential employees, cases of theft and fraud involving executives passing on industrial                 patents and know - how to rival organizations; 
  • Corporate intelligence likeInformation about organisation, infringement of trademarks and copyrights, pirating goods, verification of   assets of someone who has applied for a loan. Sometimes, private detectives may train and deploy security and bodyguards for   different organisations 



         A detective works for money and the benefit of the client and many times even if the client is corrupt the detective is not obligated to arrest the client as that person has employed him. A detective is not a law keeper, he or she may abide by the laws to a certain extent but they do not protect the law or the client. Their role is limited to finding out facts and placing it in front of their client. The detective should be a person who works with precision and expects the unexpected. To become a detective a person needs to be enrolled with the detective association, be certified and licensed along with a track record to prove the capabilities.
         For entering into this profession, no particular academic qualifications or backround are necessary. A gradute degree in any discipline will essentially qualify a candidate for one year diploma course. There are only a few institutes which offer a one - year diploma course in private investigations.

CAREER AS AN OFFICER IN INDIAN FORCES

The defense services offer dignified, disciplined and prestigious placements. The chosen officer could serve in the Indian Air Force or Indian Navy on combat duty, on administrative assignments, in the medical services, in the engineering services, in the Judge Advocate-General’s Department (JAG’s Dept.), the Education Corps; in short, in any one of the various departments.
Personality traits
Effective intelligence, courage, sense of responsibility, ability to reason, determination, ability to organize group activity, take the initiative, self-confidence, alacrity in making balanced decisions, social adaptability; and excellent powers of expression are useful traits for an aspiring defence officer. 
Eligibility 
General eligibility conditions demand that a candidate must be - a citizen of India (subjects of Bhutan, Nepal, Tibetan refugees or migrants from the rest of the Indian subcontinent with the intention of settling permanently in India can also apply). In addition, candidates must be physically fit in accordance with the prescribed physical standards. They should be unmarried males or female. There is a Women's Special Entry Scheme (officers) for women graduates in specified subjects between 19-27 years of age. 

Entry Scheme :NDA/ Naval Academy Examination
There is one common written examination for entry into Army, Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and 10+2 (Executive Branch) of Naval Academy on the following pattern 

1.    Mathematics-2 1/2 hours-300 marks 
2.    General Ability-2 1/2 hours-600 marks

Introduction
          The word ‘hospitality’ can be defined as a relationship between a visitor and a host. By realizing the significance of hospitality sector in the country, many institutes have started courses in this field, under the administration of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Many job opportunities in hospitality sector are also there in hotels, travel and tourism and aviation sector. Hospitality mainly concentrates on the services provided to the customers.  
Eligibility

  •           One has to clear 10+2 level of examination with any stream from a recognized state/national Board, to be eligible for UG                   programs. 
  •            For the PG courses, graduation in relevant stream from any recognized University is mandatory. 


            In the courses in the field of hospitality, students are imparted technicalities about various aspects of the relevant subjects, apart from practical exposure and theoretical knowledge. Most of the institutes in India offer courses in the field of hospitality at the diploma, certificate and postgraduate diploma level. However, some of the institutes also impart courses in hospitality at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree level.
