Introduction A
detective is a private person hired by a person or a company for obtaining
various informations regarding the truth of an individual or institution
or a company. Work of a detective primarily
relates to fact - finding which involves probing, investigation and knowledge
of techniques such as finger- printing, photography and tracking someone.

bodyguards for different organisations
A detective works for money and the benefit of the client and many times even if the client is corrupt the detective is not obligated to arrest the client as that person has employed him. A detective is not a law keeper, he or she may abide by the laws to a certain extent but they do not protect the law or the client. Their role is limited to finding out facts and placing it in front of their client. The detective should be a person who works with precision and expects the unexpected. To become a detective a person needs to be enrolled with the detective association, be certified and licensed along with a track record to prove the capabilities.
For entering into this profession, no particular academic qualifications or backround are necessary. A gradute degree in any discipline will essentially qualify a candidate for one year diploma course. There are only a few institutes which offer a one - year diploma course in private investigations.
